When using your iPad to input a large volume of text, use this time-saving tip. When you get to the end of a sentence, do not type a period. Instead, you can tap the space bar twice in rapid succession. This will automatically insert a period followed by a single space for you to begin your next sentence.

You should be concerned about hitting links on your iPad that may not be from legitimate sites. The best way to stop that from happening to you is by holding down the link before you click on it. This will let you know the actual URL the link is coming from.

By clicking two times on your iPad’s Home button you can quickly view a list of the applications that are currently running. They will appear in a bar located at the bottom of your iPad’s screen.
